Sales Manager - Biomass Power Plants

An international job in an expanding power industry company with business in Europe and around the world

BWSC has a solid long term track record as worldwide turnkey contractor and O&M provider of diesel- & gas engine power plants and during the later years BWSC has further become a recognised turnkey contractor and Operation and Maintenance supplier of medium sized Biomass power plants.

The market is at present selected European countries, but we aim for the world market, where conditions are relevant.

As Sales Manager for Biomass Power Plants, you will be part of a Copenhagen-based sales and marketing team handling turnkey biomass power plant projects in the DKK 500 – 1.000 million range, as well as long-term Operation & Maintenance contracts.

Relevant qualifications:

  • Engineering as well as financial education at BSc level or higher
  • Good understanding of contractual, financial and technical issues.
  • Experience from the energy industry
  • Experience with projects based on renewable energy such as biomass
  • Experience with the sales process of EPC projects from promotion and development of projects, through proposal and sales activities, to contract award
  • Experience from an international sales environment
  • Flexible attitude and prepared to travel, typically 40- 60 days a year
  • Ability to open doors at potential clients and stakeholders
  • Business talent
  • Innovative with high analytic and strategic skills with the ability to turn strategies into profitable business
  • Driven by achieving results in cross functional and cross cultural teams
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and possibly other languages

  • Prepare marketing material specific to the projects
  • Prepare outline proposals
  • Propose plant configuration
  • Project Strategy for the bidding process
  • Responsible for all aspects of bidding and sale of EPC and O&M projects
