Applications are invited for the European journalism fellowships at International Center for Journalism of the Free University of Berlin. Fellowships are awarded to journalists from Eastern and Western Europe and the United States who want to spend two semesters engaging in research in Berlin. Applicants should be between 25 and 40 years old and must have a good working knowledge of German. Highly qualified journalists in either staff positions or freelance employment with several years of professional experience are eligible to apply. Selected applicants receive scholarships, designed to cover living expenses in Berlin while fellows realize their individual research and study projects.
