The Climate and Clean Air Coalition to Reduce Short Lived Climate Pollutants ('the Coalition') is the first global effort to treat short-lived climate pollutants as an urgent and collective challenge. Launched in February 2012, the Coalition is encouraging rapid reductions in black carbon (or soot), methane and many hydrofluorocarbons to protect human health and the environment now, and to slow the rate of climate change within the first half of this century. The Coalition is a partnership of governments, intergovernmental organizations, and representatives of the private sector, the environmental community, and other members of civil society, that are committed to accelerating and incentivizing action to address key short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs).
The Coalition has a membership of more than 100 Partners as of 26 February 2015 and 11 approved initiatives for rapid implementation. UNEP is a Partner in the Coalition. UNEP also hosts the Secretariat and its DCPI Department are currently maintaining existing CCAC website.

Functional Responsibilities
A User Interface Designer is needed to carry out redesign of the CCAC website reflective of the new CCAC visual identity and transformed into a user-friendly, intuitive, accessible and searchable tool for partners and other stakeholders interacting with the CCAC. He/She will contribute to overall development of the new website collaborating closely with the User Experience Specialist, Web Developer, Graphic Designer and the Secretariat to create a CCAC knowledge platform by advising, designing and testing visual and technical qualities of the new site.
As a support and executive role to the User Experience Specialist, the User Interface Designer is needed to assist in the UX planning and user testing, as well as lead design execution of the new structure and layouts. He/She will be expected to work closely with the Web Developer in the implementation stage to ensure the site meets user expectations, is easy to use and is technically implemented to highest standard.

The Advisor/Specialist is not expected to work in the Paris office.
